Ryan Zimmerman and Mayor Muriel Bowser to Unveil Uniforms Sunday
at Newly Remodeled Nationals Team Store
The Washington Nationals celebrate all the unique things that make our District home and all the ways baseball connects us, inviting fans to help launch the Club’s new City Connect uniforms on Sunday, March 23. Hosted at the newly remodeled Nationals Team Store in Center Field Plaza, the unveiling will feature a live DJ, mascot appearances, light refreshments and more beginning at 10:00 a.m. for Season Plan Holders and 1:00 p.m. for the general public.
Local dignitaries and celebrities will help herald the arrival of the new uniforms, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Market Square on The Wharf, where the World-Famous Budweiser Clydesdales – with Nationals legend Ryan Zimmerman riding the hitch – will make their way to 1500 South Capitol St. Upon their arrival to the Center Field Gate at Nationals Park at approximately 9:30 a.m., Zimmerman and Mayor of Washington, D.C., Muriel Bowser will officially unveil the new uniforms and open the doors to the Team Store. Season Plan Holders will have exclusive access from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with doors open to the general public from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Complimentary parking will be available in Garage C, located at the corner of First St. and N St. SE, throughout the day.
In conjunction with the launch of the new City Connect uniforms, the Nationals are offering a special Ballpark Access Plan, which includes a standing room ticket to every Nationals home game and a voucher for a new City Connect jersey for just $499.
