INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Orioles will join Major League Baseball in celebrating Independence Day on Monday, July 4. As part of the celebration, all uniformed personnel will wear Independence Day-themed caps and socks. The specialty game-worn, autographed caps will be available for purchase at Orioles.com/ Auctions from Monday, July 11 at 5:00 p.m. through Sunday, July 17 at 10:00 p.m. to benefit The Orioles Charitable Foundation.

UMPS CARE CHARITIES AND WOUNDED WARRIOR UMPIRE ACADEMY

The Orioles will host members from UMPS CARE CHARITIES, the official philanthropy of the MLB Umpires, and the WOUNDED WARRIOR UMPIRE ACADEMY. UMPS CARE and the Wounded Warrior Umpire Academy partnered to train COLLINS HALSTEAD, who spent 22 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a Gunnery Sergeant, and EUGENE DEIMLER, who served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Kosovo, to be umpires in the Baltimore community. 

GIVEAWAY: Hot Dog Race T-Shirt, presented by Pepsi

The first 15,000 fans ages 15 and older will receive a Hot Dog Race t-shirt, presented by Pepsi.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Members of the BALTIMORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

EXTENDED PARKING FOR BALTIMORE'S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Orioles will offer extended stadium parking at no extra cost for fans who would like to attend Baltimore's Inner Harbor festivities following the game on July 4.

RHODOVI will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

SPECIAL CEREMONY: 2022 All-Star Game Experience Winner

JIM TSOUVALOS, the winner of the Orioles Team Member all-inclusive All-Star experience, will be recognized in a special pregame ceremony. Tsouvalos has been an Orioles Team Member since 2019, and is stationed at Home Plate Plaza.

JULY 6 vs. TEX at 7:05 P.M.

FIRST PITCH: Lou Eckerl

Long-time Calvert Hall Baseball Coach, ECKERL will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. The head varsity baseball coach from 2002-2022, Eckerl won 8 MIAA “A” Conference Championships and was named Coach of the Year by The Baltimore Sun (2005, 2007, 2019), Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches Private School (2005, 2007, 2019), Old Timers Baseball Association of Maryland (2006, 2008), American Baseball Coaches Association Region 2 (2008), and National High School Baseball Coaches Association Region 2 (2005). On April 8, 2022, Eckerl surpassed Joe Binder for most wins as a Calvert Hall baseball coach with 475.

BROWN will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

JULY 7 vs. LAA at 7:05 P.M.

FIRST PITCH: Ryan McGuire

Virginia native and lifelong Orioles fan, RYAN McGUIRE will throw out the first pitch prior to the game. Ryan and his sister BRITTANY McGUIRE are the faces behind the viral TikTok account, Tacobellqween. They use their account to spread awareness and educate people about autism.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Willie Bradley

BRADLEY will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

JULY 8 vs. LAA at 7:05 P.M.

GIVEAWAY: Orioles Floppy Hat, presented by Miller Lite

The first 20,000 fans ages 21 and older will receive an Orioles Floppy Hat, presented by Miller Lite.

FRIDAY FIREWORKS

All fans are invited to stay for a postgame fireworks show.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Jimmy Charles

Rising country star and Maryland native, CHARLES will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. He will also host a special postgame performance from behind home plate leading up to the fireworks show.

THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND: Stephanie McDonald

McDONALD will perform her rendition of "This Land is Your Land" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

FIRST PITCH: Justin Glaze

Maryland native and former Bachelorette contestant, GLAZE will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

ALUMNI AUTOGRAPHS: Al Bumbry, Steve Johnson, Larry Sheets

O's Alumni, BUMBRY, JOHNSON, and SHEETS, will be on Eutaw Street, near the New Era cap store, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to sign autographs for fans, free of cost.

The first 25,000 fans ages 15 and older will receive a Birdland Hawaiian Shirt.

MUSE will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. She will also perform "America the Beautiful" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

FIRST PITCH: Renee Whelehan

WHELEHAN will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

JULY 10 vs. LAA at 12:05 P.M.

YES SILENT AUCTION

Members of the Orioles Family Program will host a silent auction, featuring game-used and autographed memorabilia, on the lower concourse to raise funds for Youth Emotional Support (YES). YES is a non-profit organization committed to providing support and resources to individuals and their families facing the challenges and stigma of mental illness, as well as providing specialized training to mental health professionals.

MILITARY MEET AND GREET

The Orioles will host military families from the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore, providing them with complimentary game tickets, military themed O's caps, and a catered suite. Prior to the game, the guests will have the opportunity to take photos on the field and meet an Orioles player.

SPECIAL CEREMONY: Maryland Teacher of the Year

The Orioles will honor the 24 Maryland Teacher of the Year nominees during a special pregame ceremony. As part of the recognition, the Orioles will provide the nominees with complimentary game tickets, as well as a catered suite.

FIRST PITCH: Brianna Ross

ROSS, the 2022 Maryland Teacher of the Year, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. A sixth grade social studies teacher at Deer Park Middle Magnet School in Baltimore County, Ross is currently working on her Doctor of Education in urban educational leadership at Morgan State University.

HEROES CORNER: Moveable Feast

MOVEABLE FEAST works to improve the health of Marylanders experiencing food insecurity and chronic illness by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals and providing nutrition education, thereby achieving racial, social, and health equity. Established in 2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community and show their appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations.

KIDS RUN THE BASES, PRESENTED BY WEIS MARKETS

All fans ages four to 14 will have the opportunity to run the bases following the game.
