This Week at the Yard

OCT. 3 VS. TOR AT 7:05 P.M.

IN THE COMMUNITY

The Orioles will host five-year-old Dayonnie and his family at batting practice, as well as provide them with game tickets. Dayonnie is currently undergoing cancer treatments. 

PREGAME CEREMONY: Most Valuable Oriole Award Presentation 

Prior to the game, the Orioles will recognize the Most Valuable Oriole, as voted on by members of the local media. The Most Valuable Oriole Award is named in honor of the late Lou Hatter, a former sportswriter for The Baltimore Sun, who covered the Orioles for 27 years. 

National anthem and O Canada: Richard Troxell

Troxell will perform his rendition of the national anthem and O Canada from behind home plate prior to the game. 

OCT 4 VS. TOR AT 7:05 P.M.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Minor League Awards Ceremony 

Prior to the game, the Orioles will recognize the Brooks Robinson Minor League Player of the Year, Jim Palmer Minor League Pitcher of the Year, Cal Ripken, Sr. Player Development Award winner, and Jim Russo Scout of the Year. 

National anthem and O Canada: Jarreau Williams

Williams will perform his rendition of the national anthem and O Canada from behind home plate prior to the game.

OCT. 5 VS. TOR AT 4:05 P.M.

SHIRTS OFF OUR BACKS

For the final regular season home game of the 2022 season, 10 lucky pre-selected fans will participate in an on-field pregame “Shirts Off Our Backs" jersey ceremony. Following the end of the season, these fans will receive a game-worn jersey from the regular season finale, autographed by the respective player.

Heroes Corner: Student Support Network

The Student Support Network provides food, necessities, and advocacy to support the well-being of Baltimore County Public School students in need. Established in 2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community and show their appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations.

DODD will perform her rendition of the national anthem and O Canada from behind home plate prior to the game.

In the community: Orange & Black Gives Back with CareFirst

Employees from the Orioles and CareFirst will complete volunteer projects at The Food Project as part of their partnership announced earlier this year.
