Can O's take momentum from Seattle sweep into key seven-game stretch?

Coming off their second walk-off win in three days and a three-game series sweep, now the Orioles head into a stretch of seven games over the next seven days against the AL East. It starts tonight with three games at Tampa, followed by two at Boston and then two at home versus New York. Are the O's ready for this tough stretch, and will the momentum of the Seattle sweep help them get some wins during this next grueling stretch? The Orioles are 5-8 on the year against the AL East which includes a 5-4 record versus Boston and Tampa and an 0-4 mark versus the Yankees. The Orioles, who got swept last weekend by Tampa, have lost four straight games against AL East opponents. They have won two series and lost three within the division this year. While the Orioles swept Tampa in that season-opening series by scores of 4-1, 3-1 and 5-1, they got thoroughly outplayed last weekend at home in losing three to Tampa by a combined 19-7 score. Tampa has been red hot and has won six of its last seven and 13 of 17 games. The Rays are 21-7 since April 11, the best record in the majors since that point. They have won eight of their last nine series and are 9-5 in games against the AL East, 3-3 versus the Orioles. Jeremy Guthrie returns to the mound this evening where he pitched eight shutout innings on opening night but with the reminder that he gave up seven runs over five innings against this same team last weekend. The Orioles get a rematch with Tampa starting tonight. How will the O's do in this next seven-game stretch against the AL East?
