Why are the ORIOLEs leaving Matt Wieters remain in the MINORs.. I see every Orioles game.. IMHO.. You and Anita can play Catcher better than Hernandez. He is a butcher behind the plate..and DEMPSEY comments on it daily...as POLITLY as he can. I respect Rick; he played in the majores for 24 years...he did a lot of things right.

Congrats Roch. I am glad you landed in a better spot. Sounds like this position will offer you more of a rewarding venue to your talents. I for one look forward to all your new blog entries. At first, when you left the Sun, I was definitely a little distraught but this puts me in a better place knowing you are still an analyst and writer for the O's. Well done MASN. Great pick up.

With print media on the decline and the Internet taking off, you have made a wise move. All your readers will enjoy you on MASN and through your blog. I'm surprised Tribune didn't make you pay them to take "Roch Around the Clock" with you, even though it's your blog and your name. Great move and congrats! Keeping it local is great, but you may yet find yourself doing bigger and better things!

Roch's original post announcing his move said his last day at the Sun was Aug 1. I wonder if it's the Sun cheating us out of a day of Roch Around The Clock.

I hadn't been to the MASN site in months until I heard Roch was coming here. In MASN's press release they've aleady given Roch more praise for his blog than the Sun ever did. That paper is not keeping up with the times.

So happy to see Roch is still gonna be blogging...as much as Schmuck is an interesting name...its just not the same as Roch. I started following Roch back in Nov. of 05 and was really gonna miss the clock. But since its back I'm ready for the most in depth O's news source coverage.

So, here’s where we’ll all be coming. Roch, do you mind if I take my shoes off, and what do you got to eat in the fridge, and should we just sit on the floor or boxes for now? Ha ha. It’s just been a few days in between the big move, but as I’m sure other long-time posters can attest, it feels like forever, particularly with the nonwaiver trade deadline coming and going. Congrats, Roch, on the new setup and the new MASN position!

I was going to post a farewell message over at the old site but I figured that posting of comments had ended (now, though, there’s over 100 comments on the last post there). Oh well—it’s much better to write a welcome one anyway.

I thought the blog was kicking off August 1 - today - now it is August 2 - what gives? Has Roch forgotten how to blog?

I can't wait for THE blog to reemerge. I keep going to the old place, only to be stared at laciviously over sunglasses by some doofus whose wardrobe apparently consists of Don Johnson's pants from Miami Vice and Tom Selleck's shirts from Magnum PI. Then I read his posts and it just makes me angrier.

Just added MASNSPORTS.com to my favorites and deleted the Sun....I can get box scores anywhere, but the scoop only from Roch
