Game-winning hits, US Open talk and Orioles Magic
| | Comments (10)

With the team down in South Florida for a three-game series against the Marlins, Brian Roberts made a trip outside into the muggy weather to shoot his latest video blog.

In last week's This or That segment, Brian said he'd prefer a game-winning hit to a game-saving defensive play, and he hit the jackpot this week.

B-Rob had opportunities to knock in the game-winning run in the late innings in three straight games, and he came through twice during the O's series in Philadelphia.

In addition to discussing those games, Brian touched on the team's overall hot hitting, their recent string of comebacks, and one of his favorite sporting events to watch -- the US Open.

To close things out, B-Rob answered questions from Jimmy, Matt and Monyae about what music he likes to listen to, which side of the plate he prefers hitting from, and what celebrity or professional athlete he would most like to meet.

Don't forget to submit your questions for Brian using the comment box below, and he might answer yours in his next post!

Why is it that when the team wins you and Mora don't do your special handshake thing anymore?

I read that Luke Scott is fluent in Spanish, and I was wondering if you speak any other languages? And do you ever travel out of the country?

Thanks for taking the time to do this blog every week && good luck against the Nats!

I was wondering how or when I could get something signed by one of the orioles players at a game.

Hey Brian,

I am a huge o's fan but i live in Binghamton, NY (Yankees country) so i only get to watch you guys when you play the yanks. I was wondering is there anything special about playing the Yankees or any other team for that matter? Who do you consider the Orioles' rivals?

Thanks Mr. Roberts for answering my question, its amazing to me that you would take time out of your schedule to answer my question. Thank you = )

Hi Brian, Someone told me your Baseball Bash and Nick's 5K run are on the same day. I wish I could do both, but I've always loved your Bash. I was just wondering if you're really starting to plan and get ready for your Baseball Bash and if you can tell us anything extra that we can look forward to? Thanks and can't wait!

Hi Brian, You talked about your dog before, and I think that's really cool. I love dogs. Does your crazy dog Rocky do any tricks? Do you miss him when you're on the road? Thanks!
