Post-game Trembley
Manager Dave Trembley clarified Craig Tatum's injury as a bruised left index finger.
Tatum was injured on his 27th birthday. It just doesn't seem fair.
Asked about his concern over Koji Uehara's hamstring, Trembley replied, "I won't know until tomorrow."
Trembley noted that Jeremy Guthrie "pitched up" and "pitched behind."
"I will be interested to see how he pitches the next time," Trembley added.
Trembley praised Luke Scott for the way he's hitting against both right-handers and left-handers, and Matt Wieters for homering from the right side of the plate.
"I'll take those positives," he said.
There weren't many to choose from after a 13-3 loss.

Any comments on how Luke has looked at 1B? Will Reimold make the team if he does not get a hit in Spring Training?

I like Nolan's chances. Scott has been OK at first. A little awkward on some plays, but he's also done a nice job scooping throws in the dirt.- Roch
Hideous. The pitchers took the day off.
Roch,
I would further add the play of Miguel Abreu as a positive this Spring. His hitting continues to improve with each passing season and he exhibits a lot of versatility.

DT hit the nail on the head..not much but those remarks he made that were good about today's game. Guts realy worries me....he has not been good for a long long time.

C'mon, Roch, don't be such a gloom and doomer - just think of all the guys that did NOT get injured today - that's gotta count for something! And what about the fact that it didn't rain (I think)? And... well, there must be a few more positives in there SOMEplace.
I like it better when I can look back after a win and see all kinds of promising signs instead of after a loss when I have to look for moral victories and remind myself that it's just spring training. You'd think at this stage of my life I would have more patience instead of wanting the Orioles to just hurry up and win now, baby!
Sigh.
I miss the Glory Days. Maybe I need some Springsteen.

Wow, that's really weird, since that exact song is playing on the PA system right now. - Roch
If clubhouse morale was at a '10' earlier in the spring then what would you estimate it at today?
--------------------------------
I wasn't in the clubhouse after the game. I'm sure it's lower for some guys than others. - Roch
Put Nolan and BRob on the DL until they are completely healthy to start the season and keep an extra pitcher or two(D Hernadez and/or Castillo)on the roster. It looks like we'll need a lot of pitching "inventory" this year. Lou Montanez can go north as the LF guy to backup Pie.
