Nationals top prospect Bryce Harper has sore thumb, listed day-to-day

Nationals prospect Bryce Harper jammed his left thumb and sat out last night's game for the Single-A Hagerstown Suns at Lakewood. Harper missed Monday's game and last night's game was suspended to due weather. The teams will complete the suspended game at 6 p.m. tonight, followed by the regularly scheduled contest. Harper's thumb is sore but he is OK, according to a Nationals club source. Harper is expected to return to the lineup today or Thursday. Harper is batting .338 with 14 homers and 43 RBIs in 60 games.
