Orioles make waiver claim on pitcher

The Orioles have made the following roster moves:

• Claimed RHP Chris Vallimont off waivers from the Minnesota Twins and optioned him to Double-A Bowie.
• Transferred LHP Alexander Wells to the 60-day Injured List with left elbow inflammation.
