Orioles make waiver claim to return López to Baltimore, designate right-hander Gillaspie for assignment

The Orioles have made the following roster moves:

• Claimed RHP Jorge López off waivers from the Miami Marlins. He has not yet reported.
• Designated RHP Logan Gillaspie for assignment.

The Orioles’ 40-man roster currently has 40 players.
