As a proud partner of the Baltimore Grand Prix, the Orioles are committed to assisting in the logistical planning surrounding the Labor Day weekend races. The Orioles recognize the importance that this event plays to the City of Baltimore, area hotels, restaurants and businesses, and the tens of thousands of fans who will be a part of Baltimore Grand Prix weekend.
In an effort to minimize the level of inconvenience for Orioles fans and Baltimore Grand Prix planners, the Orioles, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, have moved the start time of their September 1 game against the Toronto Blue Jays from 7:05 p.m. to 12:35 p.m.
"The Orioles have once again proven to be tremendous partners," said Jay Davidson, President of the Baltimore Grand Prix. "Their decision to change the start time of Thursday's game will assist greatly in our pre-race preparations and allow for us to meet all necessary deadlines. We could never have held this event without the Orioles' tremendous cooperation since day one."
All tickets and parking dated September 1 will be honored for the new 12:35 p.m. time.
Fans who are unable to attend the new 12:35 p.m. game time may exchange their tickets for any remaining non-prime game during the 2011 season, subject to availability. Ticket exchanges must be made by September 1.
