MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network) is the Mid-Atlantic Region's premiere regional sports network. Our flagship programming includes all baseball games of the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals and the related pregame and postgame shows. In a given season, MASN produces a minimum of 640 live shows (320 pregame and 320 postgame shows) from two studios and/or live from various major league ballparks.

Title: Social Media Coordinator

Job Description: This position will support the Content Manager in overseeing and creating content for MASN’s digital platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Create and post breaking news graphics, gameday lineups, highlights, sponsored elements, final scores, and game stat graphics on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Post articles from writers on Facebook and Twitter
• Cut pre- and postgame interviews, segments, and highlights to be posted on the app, website, and social media.
• Support the production of weekly podcasts by creating graphics and promoting the podcast on social media.
• Work with sales/marketing to coordinate sponsored elements.
• Take photos at minor league and major league parks to use on the website and social media.
• Curate a cohesive voice across MASN's social media platforms.
• Track engagement data from MASN's digital platforms to work with the Content Manager and sales to maximize MASN's digital performance.
• Assist the Content Manager in graphics creation.


Essential Skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and driven to learn.
• Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with Adobe editing software.
• Vast understanding of social media trends and engagement maximisation opportunities.
• Passion for and knowledge of Major League Baseball is a plus.

The anticipated salary for this role is $40,000 - $50,000, annually depending on experience.
