The Orioles have recalled left-hander Paul Fry from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned reliever Stefan Crichton to the Tides.
Crichton had a 9.00 ERA in three innings over two appearances, his first in the majors.
The Orioles acquired Fry, 24, from the Mariners on April 14 for international bonus slot No. 105. He's thrown 2 2/3 scoreless innings with four strikeouts at Norfolk.
Fry, who will make his major league debut with his first appearance, is wearing No. 66.
Caleb Joseph is behind the plate again tonight for left-hander Wade Miley's latest start.
Hyun Soo Kim is in left field and Seth Smith is in right and leading off. Kim is batting sixth, ahead of Jonathan Schoop.
Adam Jones is batting .333/.412/.600 with three doubles and three home runs in 45 at-bats against right-handers. He's batting .343/.410/.571 (12-for-35) with two doubles and two home runs at home.
Schoop has homered in three of his last five games.
Orioles relievers have allowed one run in their last 17 2/3 innings. The bullpen has posted a 2.82 ERA with 61 strikeouts in 60 2/3 innings.
The Rays are 2-9 at Camden Yards since the beginning of the 2016 season. They have the majors' worst road record this month at 1-7.
