Rule 5 pick Ryan Flaherty gets the start tonight at second base against Twins right-hander Samuel Deduno. Left-hander Zach Britton makes his debut with the Orioles tonight. In his four games back from the disabled list, Markakis is batting .368 (7-for-19) with four doubles, an RBI, three runs scored and a .979 OPS in the leadoff spot. In two games since tossing a scoreless inning in the All-Star Game, closer Jim Johnson has allowed eight runs (six earned) and eight hits, and hit a batter, in 1 1/3 innings. His ERA has risen from 1.21 to 2.56.
