A few pregame notes (and Angels lineup)

Courtesy of the Orioles' PR staff: The last time the Orioles went on a 10-game road trip and finished with a record above .500 was Sept. 13-23, 2004, when they took two of three at Toronto and Minnesota and split four in Boston. The Orioles have not allowed a home run in their last 29 innings since Chicago's Alejandro De Aza went deep in the fourth inning Wednesday. It's the longest homerless stretch of the year by Orioles pitching. The Orioles have had consecutive three-error games for the first time since July 8-9, 2010 at Texas. Nick Johnson is hitless in 23 at-bats, the most hitless at-bats by a player in the majors this year. Tampa Bay's Stephen Vogt (0-13) and Arizona's A.J. Pollock (0-11) are the only other players with 10 or more at-bats without a hit. According to Elias, the longest streak of hitless at-bats by a position player to start an Orioles career is 25 by Ron Hansen from April 15, 1958-April 19, 1960. The longest hitless streak to begin an Orioles career overall was pitcher Wes Stock's 0-for-36 start from April 23, 1959-June 13, 1964. The Orioles have allowed 25 runs in the sixth inning this year, the most in one inning by any club. According to Elias, the 21 runs allowed by the Yankees in the first inning are the second-most in one inning in the majors. Adam Jones' next RBI will be the 300th of his career. For the Angels: Erick Aybar SS Howard Kendrick 2B Albert Pujols DH Torii Hunter RF Mark Trumbo 1B Vernon Wells LF Alberto Callaspo 3B Bobby Wilson C Peter Bourjos CF Dan Haren RHP
