Dierks Bentley to perform final NatsLive postgame concert at Nationals Park

The Washington Nationals announced today that the NatsLive Post-Game Concert Series has been extended to include a free performance by Dierks Bentley after the Nationals face the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, September 22. "I'm really glad we're getting another chance to play at Nationals Park," Bentley said. "There's nothing more fun on a summer afternoon than a baseball game and some country music." The CMA Award winning singer/songwriter recently released his sixth Capitol Nashville studio album Home. The new album debuted at No. 1 and has already scored two chart-topping hits with "Am I The Only One" and the anthemic "Home." Bentley has forged his own brand of country music, combining classic country songwriting, influences of bluegrass instrumentation, and the energy of rock and roll. His five previous studio albums have earned 10 GRAMMY nominations, sold over five million albums and scored nine No. 1 hits. Bentley is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and just wrapped his headlining Country & Cold Cans Tour, which made stops this year in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Bentley's performance will wrap up the 2012 NatsLive Post-Game Concert Series, which also features the stellar lineup of Big & Rich (June 2), The Wallflowers (July 21) and Third Eye Blind (August 18) throughout the season. Fans who wish to attend the free concert must have a valid ticket for the September 22 Nationals-Brewers game. The performance will begin approximately 15 minutes after the game's final out. Tickets for Nationals games featuring the NatsLive Post-Game Concert Series are available at nationals.com/concerts.
