The Orioles have announced the lineup for autograph sessions for FanFest, which will be held Jan. 29, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The club's new autograph policy will both raise funds for OriolesREACH charitable endeavors and reduce fan disappointment by shortening lines. By outlining which players will be available for autographs in which locations, the Orioles hope to maximize each fan's opportunity to get the autographs he or she most desires.
Autograph vouchers priced at $15 each must be pre-purchased, beginning Saturday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at orioles.com. Only 250 vouchers will be sold for each autograph session, and fans will be able to print out their vouchers on a home computer and bring them to the convention center, where they should be presented to the attendant at the appropriate station. Fans must be in line at their session no later than 30 minutes after the session begins.
If autograph vouchers are available on the day of FanFest, they will be available for purchase at the box office at Oriole Park at Camden Yards or at the FanFest ticket sales location.
A complimentary kids-only autograph station will operate throughout the day at FanFest, in a free-flowing system. Players at the kids-only station will not be announced in advance. Youths from 4-14 may go through this station as many times as they like as different players rotate throughout the station.
Because of the anticipated demand for autograph vouchers, fans are encouraged to purchase vouchers in advance. There is a limit of two autograph vouchers per fan per session, and fans redeeming vouchers must be 3 or older. However, there is a limit of one voucher per person per player group (and each voucher grants one autograph from the three players at the station). Full rules for autographs and autograph vouchers is available by clicking here.
Season ticket plan holders can access FanFest beginning at 10 a.m. and will receive a complimentary voucher for an autograph session featuring Brad Bergesen, Mark Reynolds, Brendan Harris and Al Bumbry.
