Game 138 lineups: Nats vs. Mets

So, who's ready for another ballgame?

Last night sure was fun, but the Nationals don't have any time to revel in their record-setting comeback win, because they've got a series finale with the Mets to play this afternoon. It's now the rubber game of the series, and it's an important one for the Nats, who can't afford to lose any ground to the Braves before heading down to Atlanta for this weekend's four-game series that could represent their last best chance at making the National League East a real race over the rest of the month.

After facing Noah Syndergaard and Jacob deGrom the last two nights, the Nationals get to go up against Zack Wheeler, against whom they've had all kinds of success over the years. Thirteen members of the Nats roster have at least eight career plate appearances against Wheeler, and eight of those guys are batting at least .296 off him.

Anibal-Sanchez-Deals-White-July-4-Sidebar.jpgAníbal Sánchez, meanwhile, looks to keep his longstanding run going. The veteran hasn't been charged with a loss since May 10 in Los Angeles. He's facing the Mets for the third time. The first outing, on May 10, was the day he strained his hamstring in the second inning. He faced them again Aug. 11 at Citi Field, holding them to three runs in five innings in a game the Nationals eventually won.

If you don't already know, today's game is being televised exclusively on YouTube. You can access that from anywhere in the world (no blackouts) via your computer, your tablet, your phone or your smart TV.
