Game 4 lineups: Nats at Phillies

PHILADELPHIA - Hello from Citizens Bank Park, where a couple of sleepy teams will take the field today for the home opener. The Nationals rolled into town around 1 a.m. following their twice-delayed 10-inning loss to the Marlins. The Phillies, meanwhile, flew in from Cincinnati last night following their loss to the Reds. So it'll be a quick turnaround for today's 3:05 p.m. first pitch.

The Nationals will get a boost from the sight of Max Scherzer on the mound for the first time this season. Who would've guessed the reigning Cy Young Award winner would be the last member of the opening day pitching staff to appear in a game, but such is the case given Scherzer's delayed spring due to a finger injury. He's good to go now, though, and will be looking to make a strong statement in his 2017 debut.

Right-hander Vince Velasquez starts for Philadelphia, which is hoping to take the next step in its rebuilding program this season and move closer to contention again ...
