Game 63 lineups: Nats vs. Phillies

After an early afternoon Saturday win over the Phillies, the Nationals now go for the series sweep in a late afternoon Sunday ballgame, with first pitch not scheduled until 4:05 p.m. (Reminder: All of this was done to create as much space as possible around last night's annual team charity gala.)

The Nationals, who are looking to improve to a season-best 15 games over .500, send Joe Ross to the mound. Like Tanner Roark yesterday, Ross is making his third start this year against Phillies, and like Roark, he'll be looking to improve to 3-0 against them. In those two previous head-to-head matchups, Ross has allowed one earned run on six hits over 14 2/3 innings.

Adam Morgan makes his first start in D.C. (Foggy Bottom, sadly, isn't catching for Philadelphia today, and it's probably too late to fly Chevy Chase in to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.) The Nats feasted on the left-hander 12 days ago at Citizens Bank Park, with six runs in six innings, but they'll take the field today without Bryce Harper, who is being given a rare day off. Ben Revere also gets to rest, with Michael A. Taylor in center field and leading off.
