Game 64 lineups: Nats at Yankees

NEW YORK - Hello from Yankee Stadium, where the Nationals face the best team in baseball the next two nights and will take that team on with their best hitter in the lineup for the first time this season. Yes, Daniel Murphy has been activated off the disabled list and is making his 2018 debut at long last, nearly eight months removed from microfracture surgery on his right knee.

Murphy's return - not to mention Adam Eaton, as well - gives the Nationals lineup a whole new look, certainly a more imposing one than they've had on display up to this point. Perhaps that duo will help get this group into a more consistent offensive groove after plenty of ups and downs over the last couple months.

Roark-Pitch-Gray-Atl-sidebar.jpgTanner Roark gets the start, and he faces a significant challenge going up against the toughest lineup in baseball. This is the right-hander's first career appearance against the Yankees, and obviously his first appearance at the home of the short right field porch.
