Garcia vs. Haren tonight

Freddy Garcia is still looking for his first win at Camden Yards as an Oriole, and he's willing to work up a sweat for it. As if he has a choice. Garcia is nicknamed "Sweaty Freddy" for a reason. If a manager gauged whether Garcia was fatigued by the way he looked, the bullpen phone would ring during the anthem. It's going to be a scorcher tonight. Game time temperature could equal the surface of the sun. There isn't enough water on the surface of the earth to keep Garcia hydrated. Garcia will be making his sixth start of the year and fourth at home. He's 0-2 with a 5.74 ERA in 15 2/3 innings at Camden Yards. In two career appearances against the Nationals, he's 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA, with three earned runs in nine innings. Garcia has made only one start against Washington, back on June 20, 2010 in D.C., when he allowed three earned runs in seven innings. Denard Span is 2-for-15 against Garcia. You won't find anyone on the Nats current roster with favorable numbers against him. Nats starter Dan Haren is 5-3 with a 4.02 ERA in 11 starts against the Orioles, and 3-1 with a 3.52 ERA in six starts at Camden Yards. Nate McLouth is 4-for-9 with two doubles and a home run against Haren. J.J. Hardy is 5-for-12 with three doubles, Adam Jones is 4-for-11 and Danny Valencia is 5-for-14 with two doubles.
