Get your baseball fix with two "Nationals Classics" this week

This past weekend, the Washington D.C., area saw the area's first few snowflakes. Personally, the snow and frigid temperatures have left me feeling a little sad and missing the warm temperatures of the summer. zimmerman-watching-red-sidebar.jpgWith summer comes baseball games virtually every day. If the weather has you feeling a little down, don't fret. You have a few opportunities to catch a pair of "Nationals Classics" games. Here's what's on deck this week: Tuesday, Nov. 18, 11 a.m.: On May 28, 2005, the Nationals and Brewers were in a scoreless game until the ninth inning. The game featured eight scoreless innings from starter Esteban Loaiza. In the bottom of the frame, right fielder Jeffrey Hammonds drove in Brad Wilkerson with a single to left field. Thursday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m.: What could be more American than a Nats win on the Fourth of July? How about a Ryan Zimmerman walk-off two-run home run over the Marlins from 2006? Zimmerman's blast sent the Nats to their fourth straight win.
