LaRoche, Suzuki sit, Moore and Solano in Nats lineup (updated)

Having gone hitless in his last 10 at-bats with seven strikeouts, Adam LaRoche is getting a rest for today's matinee against the Cardinals. So is catcher Kurt Suzuki with a day game after a night game. Tyler Moore starts at first while catcher Jhonatan Solano gets his first start behind the plate since being called up on April 14. The Nationals are facing Cardinals left-hander Jaime Garcia today, so Johnson will get another right-handed bat in the lineup by putting Moore in there. With Stephen Strasburg on the mound, the Nationals are looking to avoid a sweep, their fourth straight loss and falling below .500 for the first time since 2011. For the Nationals: CF Denard Span RF Jayson Werth LF Bryce Harper 1B Tyler Moore SS Ian Desmond 2B Danny Espinosa 3B Anthony Rendon C Jhonatan Solano RHP Stephen Strasburg For the Cardinals: 3B Matt Carpenter 1B Allen Craig LF Matt Holliday RF Carlos Beltran C Yadier Molina 2B Daniel Descalso CF Shane Robinson SS Pete Kozma LHP Jaime Garcia
