Hernandez hasn't given up a home run in three starts this year after allowing 27 in 19 starts in 2009. The Orioles have lost his last 12 starts since he beat Oakland on Aug. 11, 2009. Hernandez is 0-9 in that span. Hernandez went 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA in four starts (including two quality starts) against the Red Sox last season. He allowed 23 hits (seven home runs) and nine walks in 20 innings. In four starts on Yawkey Way, Hernandez is 1-1 with a 6.52 ERA. For the Red Sox: Marco Scutaro SS Dustin Pedroia 2B Victor Martinez C Kevin Youkilis 1B David Ortiz DH JD Drew RF Adrian Beltre 3B Jeremy Hermida LF Jonathan Van Every CF Tim Wakefield RHP Pedroia is 3-for-11 against Hernandez. All three hits are home runs. Youkilis is 3-for-10 with two homers. Izturis is 4-for-9 against Wakefield. Tejada is batting .319 with five homers and 11 RBIs in 72 at-bats.
