Moore Player of the Week honors

Potomac Nationals first baseman Tyler Moore is rewriting record books at Pfitzner and the league takes notice...again.
For the fourth time this season, the Mississippi State product has won the Player of the Week Award in the Carolina League. That's four times in the last six weeks he has controlled the honor.
Moore has been beyond en fuego since July 15, hitting 18 homers and 55 RBI the past five weeks. On July 14, he was hitting .191. Since that game, he has gone 60-for-141 (.426) and has raised his average a ridiculous 74 points. He also has seven homers in the last 10 games.
His slugging percentage is .943 and his OPS is 1.414. He is the sixth player in franchise history to go over 100 RBI in a season, and there are still 15 games left.
