Nationals announce 32-game Florida spring training schedule

The Nationals have released their Florida spring training schedule, a 32-game slate that begins Saturday, March 3 against the Astros in Kissimmee, Fla., and ends with a road game against the Red Sox in Lee County, Fla., on April 2. The Nats will play 15 Grapefruit League home games at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fla., beginning with a contest against the Astros on Sunday, March 4. Included on this year's spring schedule are a March 15 home game against the New York Yankees and a March 24 road game in Sarasota, Fla., against the Orioles. The Nats will host the Red Sox at Nationals Park on Tuesday, April 3 Spring training season tickets are already on sale and start at $255 for all 15 home games. Individual game tickets will go on sale Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Space Coast Stadium box office, by visiting nationals.com or by calling 888-632-NATS (6287). Tickets to the March 15 Nationals-Yankees game are subject to availability, prime game pricing and are limited to four tickets per order/customer. Beginning Tuesday, Jan.17, three-game Flex Plans will be available exclusively at nationals.com. Fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets for any three games on the Nationals' 2012 spring training home schedule, including the March 15 Nationals-Yankees game, starting as low as $33 per plan (limit four tickets per Flex Plan order).
