Now it's safe to talk about it (updated twice)

Kevin Millwood was throwing a perfect game for 4 1/3 innings. He retired 13 Royals in a row before designated hitter Jose Guillen grounded a single up the middle. Shortstop Julio Lugo was shaded far to his right and couldn't make up the ground. He never laid a glove on it. Millwood struck out six Royals, including Billy Butler twice, before Guillen reached. Alberto Callaspo followed with a single to put runners on the corners. In typical Orioles fashion, the game is scoreless as Kansas City rallies. Nick Markakis doubled in the first inning for the Orioles' only hit off Zack Greinke. I feel an instant update coming up. And here it is: Mitch Maier singled to left for the Royals' third straight hit, and they've taken a 1-0 lead. Still only one out. Update II: No. 9 hitter Chris Getz looped a single into center field with two outs to score Callaspo on an extremely close play at the plate, and Maier came home on Scott Podsednik's bunt single. Kansas City 3, Orioles 0. I keep asking how things can possibly get any worse, and they do. Maybe I should stop asking.
