Orioles almost down two outfielders (O's lead 5-0)

The expanded roster might need to be stretched out a little more if the Orioles can't keep their outfielders healthy. We haven't reached a crisis point, but Adam Jones was a late scratch again because of his sore right thumb, and Matt Angle had to scrape himself off Nolan Reimold in left-center field. Angle made a leaping catch near the fence in the first inning to rob the Angels' Howie Kendrick, and he landed on Reimold, who also raced into the gap and was reaching for the ball. Angle held up the ball, then looked down to make sure Reimold was still breathing. Reimold rolled over on his side, his back to the infield, before slowing rising to his feet. Reimold wasn't in the original lineup. Angle moved from left to center after Jones was scratched during batting practice. The Orioles are fortunate that Reimold didn't join Jones in the trainers room. I'll assume that Kyle Hudson would have replaced Reimold in left. I'm sure manager Buck Showalter has another backup plan. Tommy Hunter threw seven of his 11 pitches for strikes in the first inning. Update: It's safe to say that Reimold is fine. Reimold led off the bottom of the third with a walk, stole second and raced home on Robert Andino's single into left field. Andino took second on Matt Angle's sacrifice bunt, advanced to third on Dan Haren's wild pitch and scored on J.J. Hardy's grounder to second. Orioles 2, Angels 0 All the Orioles' scoring Wednesday night came via the long ball, but they played little ball in third inning tonight. And quite effectively. Update II: Mark Reynolds' 33rd home run increased the lead to 3-0 in the fifth. The ball traveled 386 feet and enabled him to snap an 0-for-21 streak. Update III: Hardy's two-run double makes it 5-0 in the fifth. Angels third baseman Alberto Callaspo let a ground ball from Angle scoot through his legs for an error, and Hardy followed with his second and third RBIs of the night.

Tommy Hunter could use a good outing tonight again...
