Update: Chris Tillman played catch yesterday after having his right elbow examined by team orthopedist Dr. John Wilckens, and he long tossed from 120 feet today before batting practice.
Tillman said he might throw off a mound Saturday.
Tillman simulated his delivery on flat ground today and said his elbow felt "really, really good."
Update II: The Orioles have officially recalled Jake Arrieta.
Arrieta is 3-9 with a 6.13 ERA in 18 starts with the Orioles this season. He pitched to a 1.82 ERA in his final four starts with the Tides, striking out 31 batters.
