The Orioles have announced start times for their 2018 home schedule, and folks attending Sunday games at Camden Yards are going to have to adjust their schedules.
Sunday games will now begin at 1:05 p.m., a change from the previous 1:35 p.m. start time.
Though games will start a half-hour earlier, Sundays will still be family days at the ballpark, which means fans ages 4-14 will be able to participate in a postgame Kids Run The Bases event, sponsored by Weis Markets.
The Orioles will begin the season at home against the Twins on Thursday, March 29, with opening day beginning a three-game homestand. Gametime for the season opener will be 3:05 p.m.
Most other games will begin at 7:05 p.m., with the exception of four weekday afternoon games: Wednesday, May 16 against the Phillies (12:35 p.m.); Monday, May 28 against the Nationals (1:05 p.m.); Wednesday, June 13 against the Red Sox (3:05 p.m.); and Thursday, June 28 against the Mariners (3:05 p.m.).
Additionally, three Saturday home games in June - versus the Yankees on June 2, the Marlins on June 16 and the Angels on June 30 - will start at 4:05 p.m.
The Orioles will close the home portion of the regular season with a four-game series against the world champion Astros. The final game on Sunday, Sept. 30 will begin at a league-wide start time of 3:05 p.m.
