Reimold, Paulino, the B game and more

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Manager Buck Showalter told reporters that Nolan Reimold has a dentist appointment Monday and could return to the lineup Tuesday. Showalter contemplated putting Reimold in the lineup for Sunday's B game, but decided against it. He won't take Reimold to Dunedin on Monday. Life is a little crazy for Reimold right now. His wife is due with their second child next week. Catcher Ronny Paulino passed his physical this morning and worked out at the Ed Smith Stadium complex. He's got a lot of catching up to do, so to speak. As you know, the Orioles will send out Tommy Hunter (three innings), Zach Britton, Jim Johnson, Kevin Gregg, Willie Eyre and Dylan Bundy for the B game against the Red Sox. Former Orioles farmhand Chorye Spoone will pitch for the Red Sox, along with Alex Wilson, Drake Britton and Chris Carpenter. Mark Reynolds' back is much better, and he could play Sunday in the regular game in Sarasota. Matt Lindstrom, also bothered by lower-back stiffness, could pitch Sunday or Monday. Johnson will follow Sunday's B game by taking two days off and pitching in his first Grapefruit League game on Wednesday. That's the current plan. The Orioles will make their first round of roster cuts "soon," according to Showalter. It won't happen before Sunday. Showalter said minor leaguers Trent Mummey and Glynn Davis are "banged up" right now.
