Werth could be activated today (updated)

Jayson Werth is in the clubhouse and it looks like he could be activated prior to tonight's game. No move has been announced yet, but we're waiting on word. Werth could return in time to face his former team before the Phillies leave town tonight. Update: Werth is currently shagging flies in center field during batting practice. Davey Johnson's pregame session with reporters has been pushed back at least 45 minutes and we're still waiting on a lineup for tonight. Meanwhile, two lefties with sub-3.35 ERAs take the hill as the Nationals try and avoid a sweep against the Phillies. It'll be Ross Detwiler (5-4, 3.24) against Cole Hamels (11-5, 3.31) as we look to avoid the rain drops tonight at Nats Park. The forecast actually looks pretty promising, even if the clouds overhead and the heavy wind blowing right now suggest otherwise. Detwiler got hit around pretty good his last time out, giving up four runs and seven hits over just 4 2/3 innings against the Brewers. Hamels also is coming off the shortest outing of his season, allowing five runs (three earned) over five innings.
