Game 112 lineups: Nats at Giants

SAN FRANCISCO - It's a beautiful afternoon along McCovey Cove, but don't kid yourself. It's going to be downright chilly tonight by the time the Nationals and Giants get their series opener underway. After the 110-degree heat of Arizona over the weekend, the upper 50s in the forecast later tonight are going to be quite a shock to the system.

Fedde-Gray@BAL-sidebar.jpgThe Nats would love to get hot the next few days, no matter the temperature. They've dropped three straight series and really need to get themselves back on track. It begins with this series against the Giants, who are surprise wild card contenders but have cooled off since the All-Star break.

Erick Fedde is coming off a rough start against the Braves, but he's facing a far less imposing lineup tonight. Perhaps he can do to the Giants what he did to the Orioles and Rockies a few weeks ago. His team could certainly use it after watching Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin get roughed up the last two days in Arizona.
