Nationals will host Red Sox in April 3 exhibition at Nationals Park

The Washington Nationals will host the Boston Red Sox in an exhibition game at Nationals Park on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Game time has yet to be determined. As a benefit to 2012 season ticket holders, all those with full, half and partial season ticket plans will receive tickets for the game at half their regular season ticket price. Details for the team's 2012 season ticket plans are available online at nationals.com/tickets. In addition to the exhibition game, the Nationals 2012 schedule includes 81 home dates beginning with the team's home opener on Thursday, April 12 vs. Cincinnati. The schedule is highlighted by a three-game interleague visit from the New York Yankees (June 15-17) - a first at Nationals Park - as well as holiday matchups against the San Francisco Giants (Independence Day) and Chicago Cubs (Labor Day). The Nationals-Orioles series at Nationals Park (May 18-20) will also kick off the 2012 Battle of the Beltways, as the two neighbors square off six times with each club hosting three games. The Nationals begin the 2012 season on the road against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, April 5 at Wrigley Field. Beginning next week, the added Red Sox game will be visible in all existing season ticket holder accounts and included as part of any new 2012 season ticket plan.
