O's announce early bird promotions for 2013 season

With individual game tickets for 2013 games going on sale Saturday in conjunction with FanFest, the Orioles have pulled back the curtain for a sneak peek at some of the promotions that will occur during the upcoming season. Among the giveaways and events this year are a 1983 world champions floppy hat giveaway on July 12, an Adam Jones replica road jersey giveaway on July 13 and an O's batting practice cap giveaway on July 14. That's quite a haul for one weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Fans will get the opportunity to pick the bobblehead that will be given away on Sept. 29, at the end of a week-long fan appreciation celebration. There will be four postgame fireworks displays, three T-shirt nights, two kids run the bases days and a field trip day. New promotional items include a men's travel kit (June 16), a beach towel (June 27) and ear buds (Aug. 25). Every Tuesday will be Ollie's Bargain Night, featuring $9 upper reserve tickets when purchased in advance. Every Friday will be Student Night presented by AT&T, featuring $6 left field upper reserve tickets with valid student identification (while supplies last).
