Orioles Memorial Day Weekend jersey and caps to be auctioned to benefit the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation

Throughout Memorial Day weekend, all Orioles uniformed personnel will wear jerseys featuring green accents, along with camouflage-designed caps. The Memorial Day jerseys and caps will also display five stars representing the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. The Orioles will wear a gray road version of the jersey on Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, while visiting the Tampa Bay Rays, and a home white version of the jersey on Monday, May 28, when they host the Washington Nationals at 1:05 p.m. ET.

The jerseys and caps worn throughout Memorial Day weekend will be autographed, authenticated, and auctioned atwww.orioles.com/auctions to benefit the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation. Each auction item will feature both the game-worn home and road jerseys of each player along with the game-worn cap. The auction will begin on Saturday, May 26 at 4:00 p.m. and conclude on Sunday, June 3 at 10:00 p.m.

Prior to Monday's game, Colonel Thomas Rickard, garrison commander of Fort George G. Meade, along withSpecialist Angelo Camizzi of the 7-80^th Military Intelligence Brigade, will take the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The 70^thIntelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing Honor Guard will present the colors as nine active service men and women from Fort Meade take the field with Orioles players duringSFC Randy Wight'srendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner." Wight will also perform "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch. At 3:00 p.m., the Orioles and Nationals will join Major League Baseball in pausing for an extended moment of silence in observance of the National Moment of Remembrance.

All fans attending Monday's game will receive an Orioles Memorial Day T-shirt.

The Fort Meade Alliance Foundation is a nonprofit organization that manages charitable initiatives to support the Fort Meade installation, military personnel and their families, civilians, and the broader Fort Meade Community. The foundation will use the auction proceeds to help with ongoing renovations to establish a Resiliency Center at Fort Meade, an anticipated $3.6 million project. The Orioles have raised more than $80,000 in the past five years for the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation through the Memorial Day auction.
