The Orioles today announced that FanFest will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Baltimore Convention Center - and that tickets are now available.
By now, you know the drill when it comes to the annual daylong offseason celebration of all things black and orange: appearances by current and former O's players and coaches; question-and-answer forums with players and front office staff; clinics for kids on a youth-sized baseball field; kids press conferences where young O's fans can ask questions to players; official Orioles merchandise and memorabilia available for purchase; photo ops with Santa Bird; an exhibit about spring training in Sarasota, Fla.; and tours of the O's clubhouse at Camden Yards.
MASNsports.com will be there, as usual, and Roch Kubatko and Steve Melewski will be talking to players and staff to keep you up to date on the latest O's news.
But you really want to be there, and to do that, you need to purchase tickets for FanFest, which will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (with early entry at 10 a.m. for season plan members, who will receive their complimentary ticket offer via email next week).
Tickets are available online here, via phone at 1-888-848-BIRD, at the Oriole Park box office and at the official team store at the York Galleria in York, Pa. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for children 14 and under and adults 60 and over. On the day of FanFest, tickets will be sold at the Convention Center and the Oriole Park box office.
Once again, the Orioles' autograph policy for FanFest will duplicate last year's policy, and is designed to support youth charitable endeavors through OriolesREACH, as well as to enhance th fan experience with shortened wait times. Children 4-14 will have a specially designated player autograph station sponsored by ESSKAY that will be free of charge and operate continuously throughout the day. All other ESSKAY autograph stations at FanFest will require the advance purchase of autograph vouchers here. Autograph vouchers will be available for purchase beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Orioles representatives will be on hand at FanFest to answer questions from fans about purchasing season plans. An announcement about the sale of individual game tickets will be made at a later date.
Complimentary parking for FanFest will be available at Lot B/C at Camden Yards.
