The holiday season officially kicks off this week with Thanksgiving on Thursday.
While Thanksgiving weekend is normally filled with numerous football games, we have six opportunities for you to watch some of the greatest games in Nationals history.
This week's lineup features four walk-off wins, as well as stellar pitching performances from Jordan Zimmermann and Stephen Strasburg.
Here's what's on deck this week:
Monday, Nov. 24, 12:30 p.m.: Strasburg made his memorable major league debut against the Pirates on June 8, 2010 with one of the greatest games of his career. Strasburg struck out 14 over seven innings and allowed just two runs. Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Dunn and Josh Willingham all homered in the Nats' 5-2 win.
Tuesday, Nov. 25, 9 a.m.: In 2012, the Nats made the playoffs for the first time since coming to Washington, D.C. The team made a habit out of comeback wins, including on May 2, 2012. Ian Desmond's walk-off double in the ninth secured the Nats' 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
Wednesday, Nov. 26, 11:30 a.m.: Another week of "Nationals Classics," another Zimmerman walk-off. The Nationals and Marlins were in the middle of a back-and-forth game that required extra innings. Zimmerman's two-run home run in the 11th gave the Nats an 8-7 win on July 6, 2006.
Thursday, Nov. 27, 11:30 p.m.: Don't feel like leaving the house late at night for some pre-Black Friday shopping? Don't! We have Zimmermann's complete game, one-hit shutout from April 26, 2013. Zimmermann outdueled the Reds' Homer Bailey in the Nats' 1-0 victory.
Friday, Nov. 28, 9 a.m.: If you decided to get all your Black Friday shopping done early, you can settle in to watch a classic from July 4, 2011. In the bottom of the 10th inning against the Cubs, Jayson Werth stole third base and scored the winning run on a wild pitch to give the Nats a 5-4 win.
