The Orioles today announced that they have placed left-hander Wesley Wright on the 15-day Disabled List with a left trapezius strain. In a corresponding move, the Orioles have recalled right-hander Eddie Gamboa from Triple-A Norfolk. He will wear uniform number 68. Wright, 30, posted a 5.40 ERA (1.2IP, ER) over two appearances with the Orioles this season.
