We all know Bryce Harper is bold and brash, as deadly with his words as he is with the bat when he's on one of his hot streaks at the plate.

That's not exactly news.

But Harper can also be incredibly reflective and thoughtful, as this morning's pre-opening day post on his Instagram account proves.

Think the 22-year-old isn't stoked for the start of another season? Think he doesn't experience the same unbridled joy at the thought of another season beginning as the fans that will jam Nationals Park today?

Think again.
