Final Orioles lineup for 2020

The 2020 season ends today for the Orioles with Keegan Akin on the mound for his sixth major league start.

The Orioles are one game ahead of the Red Sox for fourth place in the American League East.

Akin made his first start against the Blue Jays in Buffalo and was tagged with two unearned runs with six strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. He's walked one batter and struck out 15 in his last two starts over nine innings.

Austin Hays is batting .388/.423/.612 (19-for-49) with three home runs and 11 runs scored since coming off the injured list on Sept. 14. He's leading off again today and playing left field.

DJ Stewart is 3-for-35 in his last 11 games. He's in right field today and batting second.

Pedro Severino is 3-for-46 in his last 14 games. He doesn't have a home run since Aug. 16 or an RBI since Aug. 30. He's on the bench today, with Chance Sisco doing the catching.

Renato Núñez returns to the lineup as the designated hitter. Pat Valaika is the shortstop and José Iglesias is on the bench.

Tanner Roark has a 7.01 ERA and 1.740 WHIP in 10 starts. He's averaging 11.3 hits and 4.3 walks per nine innings.

Roark has faced the Orioles twice this summer and allowed five earned runs (six total) and 17 hits in 10 innings. Ryan Mountcastle homered twice on Aug. 30.
