Game 139 lineups: Nats at Marlins

MIAMI - The vast majority of the attention in South Florida is fixated not on baseball but on Hurricane Irma. The outer bands of storm aren't expected to arrive here until Saturday, with the bulk of the storm arriving Sunday, but already folks are making preparations, with some evacuations underway and huge lines at gas stations leading to major traffic jams. (I speak from experience on that last one.)

But there is a ballgame to be played tonight, and so the Nationals and Marlins will close out their series, with the Nats attempting to pull off their second straight sweep of Miami and in the process reduce their magic number to six.

sidebar-Gonzalez-grey.jpgGio Gonzalez gets the start, yet another one in his hometown, where he has enjoyed his share of success. Marlins left-hander Dillon Peters makes his second career start (he shut out the Phillies over seven innings in his debut) and he'll be facing a Nationals lineup sans Daniel Murphy (day off) and Matt Wieters (still nursing a tight back).
