DENVER - The Nationals have low lost three of their last four games at Coors Field after Monday's 8-4 setback against the Rockies.
The Nationals are still 7-3 overall on the road and 6-1 on this 10-game road trip, but their seven-game win streak was snapped. The Rockies have won a season-high four in a row.
Ryan Zimmerman now has seven homers in April, and has hit a homer in back-to-back games. He is batting .429 (9-for-21) with four homers and 11 RBIs in his last six games.
Joe Ross makes his second start this season for the Nats, and his first career start against the Rockies. He is 3-2 with a 3.89 ERA in seven previous career starts against National League West opponents.
The game is in a rain delay. It is expected to begin at 9:45 p.m. EDT.
