Jordan on mound, Span back for finale (with lineup)

Taylor Jordan will get his first start of the season tonight, and the right-hander will look to lead the Nationals to a series win over the Blue Jays after a split in yesterday's doubleheader.

He made his season debut Friday, coming in for Stephen Strasburg who exited after an inning plus a batter with neck tightness. Jordan was solid through his first four innings of relief, but ran into trouble in the sixth inning, giving up three earned runs.

Strasburg is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left trapezius muscle.

Jordan made his major league debut with the Nationals in 2013. Over his major league career, Jordan is 1-7 with a 4.39 ERA over 15 total games (14 starts). Over 42 innings at Triple-A Syracuse this year, Jordan was 1-2 with a 2.14 ERA.

Denard Span, nursing a sore knee, is back in the lineup, making his first start this month.
