Manny Machado is batting .406 (13-for-32) during a seven-game hitting streak, with two doubles, a home run, two RBIs and four runs scored.

Machado has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, batting .368 (21-for-57) with two doubles, three home runs, six RBIs, two walks and 11 runs scored. He's also hit safely in 17 of 18 career games against the Mariners, batting .346 (27-for-78) with seven doubles, two home runs, six RBIs, three walks and 10 runs scored.

Matt Wieters has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, batting .378 (17-for-45) with three doubles, two home runs, five RBIs and four runs scored.

Closer Zach Britton has converted 24 save opportunities in a row since May 3.

Left-hander Wei-Yin Chen has allowed three earned runs or fewer in all 10 of his road starts this season, going 3-2 with a 2.90 ERA.

Chen is 15-5 with a 2.75 ERA in 27 career starts against the American League West.

The Mariners have played 65 games decided by two runs or fewer, the highest total in the majors.

Former Oriole Nelson Cruz is carrying a couple of streaks into tonight's game. He's hit in 20 consecutive games and has reached base in 23 straight.

Cruz is batting .392 (38-for-97) with six doubles, 12 home runs, 16 RBIs, 10 walks and 18 runs scored during his on-base streak.

Franklin Gutierrez is batting .367 (11-for-30) with four doubles, three home runs, seven RBIs, two walks and four runs scored in his last nine games.
