The Orioles have announced participants and shared details for their three-day Birdland Caravan later this month.
Current Orioles players and coaches participating in select events include, alphabetically, executive vice president/general manager Mike Elias, manager Brandon Hyde, coaches Cody Asche, Matt Borgschulte, Ryan Fuller, Fredi González, Ryan Klimek and Tony Mansolino, and players Keegan Akin, Mike Baumann, Danny Coulombe, Colton Cowser, DL Hall, Austin Hays, Cole Irvin, Ryan McKenna, John Means, Ryan Mountcastle, Cedric Mullins, Joey Ortiz, Grayson Rodriguez, Anthony Santander, Dillon Tate, Nick Vespi, Jacob Webb, Tyler Wells, Jordan Westburg and Bruce Zimmermann.
Also attending are prospects Jackson Holliday, Chayce McDermott, Coby Mayo and Cade Povich.
The weekend-long celebration runs from Jan. 25-27. A fourth day was eliminated to avoid a possible conflict with the Ravens, who qualified for the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The conference championship games are slated for the 28th.
Buses will be arriving at Bowlero Timonium and Topgolf Germantown that give fans an opportunity to interact with players and staff. The caravan will make stops in 13 cities, including Baltimore City, Capitol Heights, Catonsville, Columbia, Frederick, Gambrills, Hagerstown, Halethorpe, Hanover, Havre De Grace, Laurel, and Timonium.
Fans in Easton and Westminster can meet and take photos with the Oriole Bird and Mr. Splash while holding the American League East Champions flag.

Thursday, Jan. 25:
* Banditos Taco & Tequila in Columbia with a live “Justin, Scott, and Spiegel Show” on 98ROCK, the flagship station of the Orioles Radio Network. The event is open to all fans and features live in-person interviews and photos with Hyde, Mountcastle and other players and coaches to be revealed closer to the event.
* A private community project with ShareBaby, where players and staff will craft care packages of diapers and essential items for young children in Baltimore with unmet needs.
* In the evening, fans can purchase tickets for a screening of the new documentary 101: The Story of the 2023 Baltimore Orioles at The Charles Theatre located near Penn Station in Baltimore. Tickets for the 7 p.m. showing will be available to purchase on Orioles.com/Caravan starting Tuesday at noon, proceeds benefit the Y in Central Maryland. Fans in attendance will receive a 101: The Story of the 2023 Baltimore Orioles movie poster autographed by Hyde.
Friday, Jan. 26:
* Private community events with the Fredrick Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack to pack meals for food-insecure children, and stocking the food pantry at Mission of Love Charities. Two photo opportunities are available at the YMCA of Frederick County and the Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center. Tickets are required and proceeds benefit both nonprofits. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday at noon. Elias, Hays, Westburg and Povich will be in Frederick, and Hyde, Mayo, Mullins and McDermott will be in Laurel.
* Guest bartending Happy Hours from 4-6 p.m. at Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Halethorpe and Hopkins Farm Brewery in Havre De Grace. Hyde, Mayo, Mullins and McDermott will appear at Guinness, and Elias, Hays, Westburg and Povich will appear at Hopkins Farm.
Saturday, Jan. 27:
* An appearance at Bowlero Timonium, followed by a fan rally at Crofton High School that’s open to the public and hosted by Orioles broadcasters Rob Long and Melanie Newman. Hall, Irvin, McKenna, Tate and Wells will be available. Tickets can be purchased to meet and take photos with players following the rally. They also go on sale beginning Tuesday at noon, with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore.
* An appearance at Topgolf Germantown featuring Akin, Baumann, Holliday, Vespi and Zimmermann, followed by a fan rally at South Hagerstown High School in Washington County featuring Hall, Irvin, McKenna, Tate and Wells, and hosted by Orioles broadcasters Geoff Arnold and Brett Hollander. Tickets for the rally also go on sale beginning noon Tuesday, with proceeds benefiting The Baltimore Station.
* Guest bartending Happy Hours from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at UNION Craft Brewing in Baltimore City with Akin, Baumann, Holliday, Vespi and Zimmermann, and a downtown Catonsville takeover at State Fare, El Guapo and The Basement Arcade with Hall, Irvin, McKenna, Tate and Wells.

Catcher Adley Rutschman and infielder Gunnar Henderson are a few of the notable absences. Rutschman will be speaking at an event at his alma mater, Oregon State University, and Henderson will be in New York City to accept his American League Rookie of the Year award.
The caravan was introduced in 2020 as a substitute for the annual FanFest event at the Baltimore Convention Center, then was put on hold for two years due to the pandemic and baseball’s lockout.
