Orioles announce details for 2025 Birdland Caravan

The weekend-long tour returns from January 30-February 1 to bring Orioles baseball directly to fans throughout the region

The Orioles today announced the return of the club’s ‘Birdland Caravan,’ a three-day winter tour, that will take place from Thursday, January 30, through Saturday, February 1, at multiple locations throughout the region. The celebration will include pop-up photo opportunities at surprise locations, community projects, mascot meet and greets, happy hours, and bowling. New to 2025, fans can participate in Karaoke Happy Hour at PBR Baltimore, along with new youth events like the Rip & Play Event at Bel Air Sports Cards, Orioles PLAY BALL Rookie Clinic, and a new family-friendly, interactive Kids Rally.

Current Orioles players participating in select events include COLTON COWSERGUNNAR HENDERSON, JACKSON HOLLIDAY, CHAYCE McDERMOTT, RYAN MOUNTCASTLE, RYAN O’HEARN, CADE POVICH, ADLEY RUTSCHMAN, ALBERT SUÁREZ, and JORDAN WESTBURG. Additionally, Orioles Executive Vice President and General Manager MIKE ELIAS and Manager BRANDON HYDE will attend select events throughout the weekend.

Designed to take the Oriole Park experience directly to the fans, Birdland Caravan will make stops throughout Maryland including Baltimore, Bel Air, Columbia, Ellicott City, Halethorpe, and Severn, along with three additional surprise locations in Frederick, Harford, and Montgomery Counties. Fans in Pasadena and Westminster will also have the opportunity to meet and take photos with the Oriole Bird, Mr. Splash, and the Camden Franks.

New this year, tickets are required for several key events, including the Kids Rally in Severn, the Bowling Experience at Bowlero Columbia, Orioles PLAY BALL Rookie Clinic in Ellicott City, Rip & Play Event at Bel Air Sports Cards, and all happy hours. This marks an exciting update to enhance the experience and ensure a smooth process for participants. All profits from 2025 Birdland Caravan events will benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation, supporting impactful community initiatives and programs. Fans must purchase tickets in advance as availability will be limited. Tickets are now on sale and available at Orioles.com/Caravan.

Each day, the tour will make a special stop at a surprise location, with players available to meet and interact with fans for exclusive photo opportunities, known as the “Pop Up Photo Op”. The specific locations will be revealed approximately 24 hours before the event on the Orioles social media channels and Orioles SMS. No tickets are required. This event is open to all fans on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Birdland Caravan will begin on Thursday, January 30, with both buses taking over private school assemblies at William Winchester Elementary School and Glendale Elementary School, turning an ordinary school day into an unforgettable experience. In the evening, fans may purchase tickets for a happy hour at Guinness Open Gate Brewery featuring guest bartending, photos, and Q&As with players.  A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase at Orioles.com/Caravan.

On Friday, January 31, the day begins with giving back as the players dive into meaningful community projects with ShareBaby and the Warehouse Collaborative, a space for Baltimore-based nonprofit organizations to share resources and ideas, providing a "one-stop-shop" for volunteers, donors, and nonprofit service recipients. The Warehouse Collaborative supports multiple organizations, including Movement Team, Maryland Book Bank, Leveling the Playing Field, and Break a Difference. The caravan will return to the classroom for school assemblies, inspiring students with lessons and activities on teamwork at George Lisby Elementary School and the Orioles' adopted school, Harlem Park Elementary Middle School. Next, one of the buses will take part in a community project at The Transformation Center in Brooklyn. The second bus will visit MedStar, where players will bring smiles and encouragement to patients by spending quality time with them. The day will close with a karaoke happy hour from 5-9 p.m. at PBR Baltimore in Power Plant Live! This is a 21 or older ticketed event. Tickets will be available to purchase at Orioles.com/Caravan.

The caravan will conclude on Saturday, February 1 with “Kids Day” presented by the Maryland College Investment Plan, a fun-filled day packed with youth-focused events for kids of all ages. One bus will begin the day bowling alongside fans at Bowlero Columbia, which will also feature a private meet and greet with members of the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore. After knocking down pins, the caravan will stop at Severn for a special Kids Rally with interactive games and a kids press conference with those in attendance. One bus of players will conclude caravan weekend at Meadowbrook Athletic Complex for the Orioles PLAY BALL Rookie Clinic for fans ages 5-12. This indoor clinic will provide entry-level instruction on hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning. Limited spots are available per age group. Fans can purchase the opportunity for their youth athlete at Orioles.com/Caravan. The second bus will head to the Eastern Family Resource Center for a community project before ending the day at a Rip & Play Event at Bel Air Sports Cards, trading cards and taking photos with fans. Tickets are required for entry and can be purchased at Orioles.com/Caravan.

Information regarding media availability during the Birdland Caravan will be announced the week prior to the event.
