Orioles lineup vs. Red Sox (Hess recalled)

Danny Valencia and his .600 career average against left-hander David Price are in tonight's lineup as the Orioles close out their series against the Red Sox at Camden Yards.

Valencia, who's 15-for-25 versus Price, is batting fourth as the designated hitter.

The Orioles continue to audition Renato Núñez at third base. Mark Trumbo is in right field and Caleb Joseph is behind the plate.

Second baseman Jonathan Schoop has homered in three consecutive games and four of the last five. He's batting .353 (12-for-34) during an eight-game hitting streak and .367 (29-for-79) with six home runs in 20 games this month, but he's 5-for-30 (.167) with a home run lifetime against Price.

Price is 13-5 with a 2.77 ERA and 1.062 WHIP in 26 career starts against the Orioles and 7-0 with a 2.96 ERA and 1.157 WHIP in 11 starts at Camden Yards.

Dylan Bundy has made three starts this month since coming off the disabled list and allowed 15 earned runs (16 total) and 19 hits in 12 1/3 innings. He's surrendered five home runs.

Bundy shut out the Red Sox on three hits over eight innings on June 11 and didn't get the decision in the Orioles' 2-0, 12-inning loss. Tonight marks his fourth start against them in 2018. He's 0-2 with a 2.29 ERA and 1.068 WHIP in 19 2/3 innings.

Andrew Benintendi is 8-for-23 (.348) with two doubles, one triple and one home run lifetime against Bundy.

Per Elias, Monday's game was the first in major league history between a 70-win and 70-loss team before August.
