Tommy Hunter allowed four home runs last night, marking the 33rd time in franchise history an Orioles starter allowed four or more homers in a game. It was the sixth time in franchise history that the Orioles won a game in which their starter allowed four or more homers, the other five being Mike Cuellar, Mike Mussina (four homers once and five homers once), Bruce Chen and Brian Burres.
Note: Tsuyoshi Wada completed his second extended spring training start today, allowing two hits, walking five and striking out seven in six innings vs. the Rays. He threw 100 pitches, so he's stretched out.
Wada's next start hasn't been determined, but he could report to one of the affiliates.
